There are many vulnerable children in Kenya caused by Social economic factors that include the HIV/AIDS pandemic that has left many children orphaned, cultural taboo of parents bearing physical handicapped or mentally challenged children who they neglect, parents lacking skills to create employment and job opportunities to provid for their children. This leads children becoming vulnerble and drop out of school and they end up in urban towns as street children. The children are involved in vices like drug abuse, begging, prostitution to try make ends meet and to provide for their livelihoods. It is with this that we decided to give the vulnerable children a level playing field in the society by offering a helping hand in providing Education, health care facilities, water, empower families in agriculture and peace building in conflict areas for scarce resources. To achieve this, Moses Otunga Foundation works directly with families and communities both in the semi arid areas and urban slums. we initiate projects for sustaining and care of the vulnerable children in cooperation with local authorities, the corporate world and other NGO’s of goodwill.
